Young Ali Baba stumbles across an enchanted cave, where he finds untold amounts of gold and jewels, and takes some of it home to show his wife. But what will he do when she chides him for stealing? Can he keep the secret from his jealous brother? And when the Robber King comes looking for the missing treasure supported by an army of 40 angry thieves, will he and his family survive?
Packed with cliff-hangers, larger-than-life characters and laughs galore – perfect summer fun for thieves and vagabonds 5yrs and over!

Enjoy the atmospheric setting of Ryedale Folk Museum for an evening of family-friendly, open-air theatre with the award-winning Illyria.
Bring your own seating/rug (and waterproofs, just in case – rain will not stop the show!).
There will be a pop-up bar serving drinks and snacks, but please feel free to bring your own picnic to enjoy before the performance.
Free car parking courtesy of the North York Moors National Park – please park at the Hutton le Hole NYMNP car park (located on Moor Lane, 300m from the Museum).
